Outline proposals for up to 150 new homes at this site have been submitted to Wiltshire Council.As a Market Town in Wiltshire, Melksham is a key location for significant levels of growth within the current plan period and through the Local Plan review. The site is well placed to provide for sustainable travel options for future residents and supporting the delivery of a sustainable pattern of development.

As project lead, Blue Fox Planning Ltd coordinated the submission of this application, working closely with various other disciplines to respond sensitively to the circumstances of this site.
Our involvement in the planning application included planning input in to the Design and Access Statement and other technical reports, presenting briefings to local Parish Councillors and engaging with members of the public via virtual consultation events. Post-submission, we continue to engage constructively with Council officers to identify and implement solutions to matters raised during the Council’s consultation process.
